Epicurean discovery
At the foot of Mont Ventoux, in the heart of Provence rooted in the values of the land and its ancestors, three generations have built a company that is both prosperous and respectful of the environment, emphasising quality as well as boldness.
In the early 1970s, the Chaudière family chose the exceptional site of Château Pesquié, located in Mormoiron at the foot of Mont Ventoux, as the ideal place to make their wines. In 2003, Alexandre and Frédéric Chaudière took over from their elders and now continue the family adventure by playing the complementary card: Alexandre is in charge of the vines and winemaking, while his brother travels around France, Europe and the world to promote and market Château Pesquié wines. Like their parents, they have succumbed to the lure of Mont Ventoux, which seems to exert a magnetic force on every member of the Chaudière family.
Today, the estate is a key player in the Ventoux AOC and the southern Rhône Valley. With 100 hectares of vines and a team of 17 employees, it is the largest private cellar in the Ventoux AOC. Its wines are imbued with the incomparable freshness of the Ventoux region. Each cuvée has its own identity and specificity within a balanced range where roundness merges with fruit, and woodiness contrasts with liveliness.
All year round, Château Pesquié opens its doors to visitors wishing to discover the estate through guided tours (booking required) or tasting workshops.
