In February 2018, La Chapelle, a Protestant building constructed by the Guiraud family in 1784, opened its doors to welcome epicureans in a unique setting, in the heart of the vineyards of Château Guiraud, which became the first of the 1st Grands Crus Classés in 1855 to integrate a restaurant in the heart of its vineyard.
In January 2025, La Chapelle was taken over by the gastronomy division of the Terres de Natures label under the gastronomic leadership of chef Yoann AMADO, who also runs Le Cercle Guiraud in the village of Sauternes.
This change brings with it a renewed culinary vision, combining simplicity and excellence: a cuisine inspired by nature and prepared using local, seasonal produce.
True to the spirit of the Château, the Chef incorporates vegetables from the property's extensive organic kitchen garden into his creations, including its many varieties of tomato, for an experience firmly rooted in the terroir.
La Chapelle offers three separate areas that can accommodate up to 200 people for private or business events.
These include the Chapel itself, the Dining Room and the Lounge, providing an exceptional setting for intimate celebrations or corporate meetings.
