La Bulle Verte presents its innovation at the French Travel Days Nordics in Copenhagen!

Published on

This week, La Bulle Verte had the honour of being invited to take part in the French Travel Days Nordics 2024, organised by Atout France for the Nordic and Baltic markets in Copenhagen. This event proved to be an interesting platform to present our innovative solution with the startup MooVert, during a keynote on innovation and sustainable tourism.

The event brought together over 60 tour operators and agencies from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Baltic countries. On the programme: enriching presentations from French destinations and companies offering innovative and sustainable travel experiences, perfectly adapted to the Nordic market.

The first day kicked off with inspiring keynotes on the latest innovations in tourism, featuring renowned speakers such as Christophe Parisot from the French Embassy in Denmark, Benoit Chollet, Sélic Lenne from the Agence d'attractivité Hello Lille, Kirsten Kromann-Larsen from Air France, Magali Kennedy from MooVert, Marie Stefani and ourselves, La Bulle Verte - Exploration Tranquille. We were also inspired by Jonas Løvschall-Wedel's presentation on the CopenPay initiative, demonstrating the potential for innovation in sustainable payment solutions.

These interventions have reinforced France's commitment to sustainable tourism, notably through eco-responsible transport projects and new air connections between France and the Nordic countries. These efforts follow the success of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, underlining the importance of combining innovation and respect for the environment.

The growing importance of sustainable tourism was at the heart of the discussions, with a particular focus on the need to reconcile authentic experiences with respect for the environment. The Nordic and Baltic markets, already very aware of these issues, are proving to be leaders in this transformation. However, their pragmatism is reflected in their quest for an exceptional customer experience, underlining the importance of providing offers that are both sustainable and attractive.

The days were also punctuated by activities immersed in Nordic culture, with outdoor bathing, running and yoga, before continuing with one-to-one meetings offering opportunities for new collaborations.

France's assets - nature, sport, gastronomy, wine, spirits and sunshine - are all strong points in its appeal to Nordic travellers, who are demanding and in search of authenticity. Upcoming events in France, such as the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris, the Grand Depart of the Tour de France in Lille, and Cézanne 2025 in Aix-en-Provence, were also of great interest to participants.

Many thanks to Atout France and Benoit Chollet's team for their impeccable organisation of this event. We would also like to thank Marie Stefani, Anna Lundén, Charlotte Zeuthen Lesénécal and Sissel Dahl for their warm welcome.

The future of tourism between France and the Nordic countries looks bright, and we're proud to be an active part of this dynamic!
