Epicurean discovery
The Domaine du Vas winegrowing estate has been shaped by generations of passion for viticulture, covering an area of 60 hectares, including 14 hectares of wine grapes and 14 hectares of table grapes, representing more than 80 grape varieties ((disease-resistant varieties, seedless and other specialities). They also excel in the production of vine plants, thanks to their expertise as nurserymen under the name of Gontard Frères. They also produce honey thanks to the beehives on the estate.
In 2008, they set up their own winery, Domaine du Vas. Initially, they processed 65% of their production, a figure that has since risen to 85%, with the ultimate aim of reaching 100% in the near future. In the welcoming atmosphere of their estate, they invite you and your family to discover their know-how and their production. You can taste their 17 different wines, as well as local products such as white grape juice, olive oil, table grapes, figs and green asparagus. They also offer guided tours to explore the different aspects of their profession, such as visiting the workshops during the vine plant production season or taking part in the table grape harvest.
