Epicurean discovery
Château Mauvinon essentially embodies the story of the Tribaudeau family, united by a shared passion for viticulture and nature. The story unfolds in buildings dating back to the 19th century, serving as both the family home and the winery. What's more, it tells the story of the creation of exceptional wines, made in a confidential and authentic manner, with a deep respect for the land and the people who cultivate it.
The 6.5 hectare estate lies within the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation. It is managed according to the principles of Organic Farming and Biodynamics, with the firm intention of bequeathing a flourishing, dynamic land to future generations.
Château Mauvinon is also famous for its roof terrace, known as 'Le Nichoir'. This is an exceptional space dedicated to welcoming and observing birds. Sit back with a drink in hand and enjoy the panoramic view over the vines. Binoculars are available to help you identify the different species that live in the vicinity of the estate. Everyone can take part in this observation and become involved in preserving biodiversity.
Experience the real life of a winegrower, thanks to the tours and experiments on offer at the estate. From the vineyards to the cellars, with a stopover on the roof terrace, discover the practical aspects of the job, immerse yourself in sulphite-free winemaking, explore the commitment to quality and the environment, and finish off these immersive experiences by tasting the exceptional wines produced by the estate.
