Epicurean discovery
Château la Croix des Pins, a witness to a rich past, dates back to the 16th century, when it was built by a prelate of the pontifical government in Carpentras. The Tuscan-style bastide, marked by its religious origins, still retains its interior chapel and imposing pergola leading to a spring under a hundred-year-old oak tree, ideal for meditation.
A forerunner, the estate was awarded the 'BIO' label in 1998.
In 2009, a new era began with the purchase of the estate by Eric Petitjean and his partner Jean-Pierre Valade, a renowned oenologist. The estate was reinvented with new grape varieties, an exceptional barrel cellar and modern equipment for precise, high-quality vinification. The complete renovation includes a light-filled tasting cellar, a restaurant with terrace, and two top-of-the-range gîtes with swimming pool.
The range of organic red, rosé and white wines, spread across the Ventoux, Gigondas and Beaumes-de-Venise appellations, includes unique cuvées such as 'Les 3 Villages', 'La Tête à l'Envers' and the Pétillant Naturel 'L'Emilienne'.
Château la Croix des Pins invites you to enjoy unique experiences, combining discovery and the pleasure of the senses. You'll be welcomed in the 16th-century bastide at the heart of the estate.
